BUYING AND SELLING PREFERENCE SHARES: Many securities are mainly traded on the inter-bank exchanges where they are more liquid and the spreads tend to be narrower and prices more favourable. For more details and a suggested broker please visit the Buying Fixed Income Securities section of this site. The following table covers a large number of preference shares from the UK non-finance sector. The preference shares included in the table have largely been based on my own research and the feature is very much a work in prgress. I have tried to include as much information as possible for each security and indicative prices where available. The prices shown are from the London Stock Exchange quotes where available. Where not available from LSE quotes the price shown is from the last trade but please note that this maybe some time ago as many of the stocks are very thinly traded/ If you would like to suggest a preference share for inclusion please do so using the New Security Form
