PIBS (Permanent Interest Bearing Shares) prices, yields and key details for the main Building Society PIBS and former PIBS (which are sub-ordinated bonds of the banks which took over former Building Societies). The table includes automatic price updates for those PIBS which are traded on the London Stock Exchange including those issued by the Nationwide Building Society, Bradford & Bingley and Northern Rock. I have added links to the prospectuses of the various PIBS where I have managed to obtain copies. The table has been sorted by issuer, yield and yield to call and you can view each sort by selecting the relevant tab at the bottom. The sort column is highlighted in yellow in each case for ease of reference. BUYING & SELLING PIBS: The PIBS prices shown below are automatically updated based on London Stock Exchange quoted prices. However PIBS are also traded on the inter-bank bond exchanges where they are more liquid and the spreads tend to be narrower and prices more favourable.
